Swarachakra is a open-source keyboard and is maintained by academic researchers from IIT Bombay with contributions from other volunteers. The information collected is used in academic research in Indian languages, including improving the keyboard and developing other Indian language technologies. Third-party products or services
Swarachakra versions 2.4 onwards includes a remote keyboard feature that enables the user to type from one phone to another. It uses QR code to pair two devices. It uses the camera permission only to enable easy pairing of devices. This feature uses the Better Together framework.
